Precision CNC Swash Plate
The uprated swash plate is by far the best upgrade you can buy to cheaply but drastically improve the MCPX, it removes almost all the slop in the standard head setup. It also stops the ball links flying off as much and is much much stronger. The removal of the slop in the head will make your MCPX easier to fly and more responsive to cyclic inputs. The benefit of the Micro Heli swash over Xtreme Productions is that is has a aluminium shaft collar instead of delrin. This means it fits easier and again removes just a fraction of slop.
Benefits – Strong & Removes Slop

Precision CNC Main Rotor Hub
The uprated main rotor hub is a nice addition to the MCPX, from the strength advantage but also the the better (In my opinion) It weighs exactly the same as the plastic one but it has obvious strength advances. It also holds the dampeners more securely and tightens the entire head assembly really well.
Benefits – Strong & Crash Proof

Precision CNC Main Blade Grips
The Metal blade grips again made from aluminium are a great strengthening and crash proofing item to add to your MCPX. They also weight only 0.79 grams as opposed to the 0.85 grans of the original and in comparison ugly grips.
Benefits – Bling & Strength

Carbon Fibre Blades
These blades are inline with the bling available, they have a very nice and clean finish and are darn study. I have heard a few reports of them being a little heavy. Although I am reserving judgment until the KBDD blades are here and I can weigh each and test them thoroughly so more to follow on these.

Titanium Feathering Shaft
Titanium has a great strength to weight ratio, and is the perfect material for the feathering shaft, meaning in the event of a crash this this won’t bend at all, obviously I will be testing this but in the meantime I have heard some good reports and they look and feel great. Also they only weigh 0.14 grams opposed to the 0.23 grams of the original.

Titanium Main Shaft
Again titanium is known for its great strength to weight ratio, and again this thing is DAMN strong. It weighs quite a bit more than the original main shaft, but I think with these strength increases this is a viable trade off. With the further testing to come I think we can really put this through its paces.

Aluminium/Carbon Fiber/Delrin Frame with 3rd Bearing
This frame comes really nicely packaged, reminding me of an align product. It also feels really sturdy and will defiantly be an improvement to the plastic frame from a standard MCPX. It weighs only slightly more at 3.60 grams opposed to the 3.12 grams of the original stock part. It also has carbon canopy mounts and delrin boom mounts. I think this could be a great upgrade to the MCPX.
Benefits – Strong & Sturdy with a quality feel.

Carbon Landing Skids
Theses skids are very similar to Xtreme’s offering, although they feel a little more sturdy and have some very nicely thought through fittings. With the booms that attach to the main tail boom feeling particularly of benefit to the MCPX. These did require a bit of deburring on the holes which I did with a drill bit. But altogether a very sturdy and clean set of skids. Very little sping also.
Benefits – No Spring & Strong

Aluminium Tail Boom
In my case I have the XL boom which adds the necessary length to remove the tail blowout of the MCPX, it is very very strong and looks really nice with the carbon tail fin. It also have a horizontal fin which is a nice touch. I like the small carbon piece for connecting to the frame which will act like a sacrificial part when a major crash occurs, it only costs a couple pounds to replace. I think this could be a nice addition to the MCPX.
Benefits – STRONG, sacrificial carbon part
